"APOLINARIO MABINI: The Sublime Paralytic" Premiere


The screening is our tribute to the heroism of Apolinario Mabini, considered icon of Persons with Disability. It is presented in commemoration of his 150th Birth Anniversary and in Promotion of the Use and Recognition of Filipino Sign Language in the Philippines.

She is the 2015 Media Advocate of the Year, in the individual category, 
of the Aplinario Mabini Awards for her work as an advocacy filmmaker.

Ms. Yvetter Apurado-Bernardo is the vice president 
of Philippine Federation of the Deaf, Inc.
She shares that she only know of Mabini as the hero in the 10 peso coin.
She did not about his history and disability.

Ms. Weng River sharing about Apolinario Mabini. She admires him. He is a hero and very intelligent.

The tickets are Php 70 for general admission and Php 50 for students/PWDs. 
This event is open to the public. You may invite and get tickets for family, friends,
 and community/organizations outside Benilde. 
You may get/buy the tickets from Ms. Leah Osido at the Ground Floor, Duerr Hallway, 
Center for Partnership and Development (CPD office).
This is for the Benilde Deaf Scholarship Fund.
