Creative Response to Contemporary Education Challenges

The opening educational seminar of Creative Response to Contemporary Education Challenges was held on Tuesday of November 22, 2011 at 9am, at SDA Theater, 5th floor, School of Design and Arts Campus. Starting with the National Centennial Lecture Series 1 which is titled "Education is about to take a turn around."

The De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde hosted this event and welcome remarks were by Bro. Victor Franco, FSC, President DLS-CSB. The invited resource speakers were: Senator Jun Magsaysay Jr., Former Senator, Bro. Armin Luistro, FSC, Secretary of Department of Education and Dr. Patricia Licuanan, CHED Chairperson, with an open-forum related to the education issues, challenges and solutions. Moreover, sharing of Mr. Robert Tang, Vice-Chancellor for Academics for the Inspirational message with interpreters Mr. John Xandre Baliza and Ms. Maria Veronica Templo-Perez.

Hopefully, quality of basic and access to education in the country including major reform of the policy and curriculum will be enhanced. Providing children and youth people leads to the best leadership and opening access to education for all in the future.
