Remembering Ms. Ellena Castillo


 Last September 18 at 9pm, DLS-CSB SDEAS offered a Holy Mass for Ms. Ellena Castillo at the Chapel of the Resurrection, DLS-CSB, Taft Campus.

Ms. Ellena dedicated her entire life in the service for the Deaf.  She was the principal of the Bible Institute for the Deaf and one of the first Sign Language interpreters in the country. 

As one SDEAS community, we send our deepest condolences to her loved ones and continue to pray for her soul.

She was the beloved principal of the Bible Institute for the Deaf.


She the one of the first Sign Language interpreter 
for the Deaf and the Blind in the Philippines through this school.


She was featured in signing and singing and song of praise to God.








May the Lord welcome Ms. Ellena Castillo in His Kingdom together with the angels and saints.
