Inviting everyone to watch CROSSROADS on Wednesday (March 5), 7 pm at Augusto Rosario Gonzales Theater (CSB Theater, Benilde Taft Campus) with FSL interpreters. Faculty can get in for free, but students need to buy tickets. Please see attached poster for more details.
Other play dates (no interpreters) are on March 12 & 13, 7pm, at the SDA Blackbox Theater.
CROSSROADS is the flagship project of Dulaang Filipino under the Office of Culture and Arts held every February. This year’s theme is “To Sons and Daughters.” This annual theater festival offers the best performances from production companies formed solely for CROSSROADS and showcases excellence in theater production proudly Benildean.
CROSSROADS11 becomes a creative platform for Benildeans with bold interest in theater to meet and showcase their best works.
Homebound Background:
A glimpse of a son in search of a father, two daughters finding strength, a mother learning to be a father and a father going back home. A broken family trying to find normalcy but is hindered by a sickness. 3 girls left to fend for themselves seeing life in different perspectives. Each goes through a trial that brings them closer to each other. They accept each other's flaws and past mistakes. Towards their journey of battling their own sickness they realize that they just have to really go back home, back to family, back to having faith. A show that will be played in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 action.
