Kasaysayan: Gabay sa Pag-unlad ng Bayan [An Exhibit on Philippine History]

As part of the exhibit with the “Kasaysayan: Gabay sa Pag-unlad ng Bayan,” a program was held last April 10, 2013 at CSB Green Way Square at 12:30-2:30 in the afternoon.

The second year students headed by Ms. Febe S. Sevilla organized the program hosted by sections A and B representatives Louis Decara and Nina Blas.

Yvette Rebulado signed the National Anthem and the opening prayer was led by Angel Pablo of E2A.

Afterwards, Mia Clara Anonuevo introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Paolo Bustamante, a CSB student and a proud history blogger.

Surprisingly, another visitor who turned out to be the owner of the old Escolta Church patiently waited and attended the program where his property was mentioned.
Mr. Roberto S. Sylianteng (First United Building Corporation) and Ms. Febe Sevilla.

He lectured about his own blog which contained information about historical places including churches and buildings in Escolta, Manila and in other places which he considered as treasures our culture’s past.  With the help of Mr. and Ms. Sevilla as interpreters, what he shared became more inspiring and touching for the audience.

A closing prayer was led by Michael Bulalacao of E2B to end the program. CSB Deaf Students and faculty who attended definitely felt delighted and the turnout of the event was a success which made everyone thankful for all the people who were behind the program’s effective presentation.
